		<description>Funny, I was just thinking about posting REI since I just used their website to educate myself on some indoor rock climbing shoes then I purchased them in the local REI store, it was an all around great experience.
I got rear ended on Monday and after talking with my insurance company about getting the claim settled, it reminded me of how much they take the pain out of the normal insurance hassle. The company is American Express Insurance or they are referred to as Amerprise Financial now.
I never have to talk to more than one person to get an answer to a question, to change my billing method, or make a claim as I did on Monday. I have been insured with them for 3 years and every time I call I always get a pleasant and helpful person that takes care of my situation. This is the exact opposite experience I have had with SBC where I have to talk with 5 people in 3 departments to get anything done sometimes.</description>

As a company, their focus is on the customer.  Their unconditional happiness return policy makes any purchase risk free.  My friends and I have personally experienced this to be true -- no hassles.  The in-store employees are very knowledgeable and not motivated by commission but by a passion for the outdoors.  A small, lifetime membership fee gets you free in-store climbing on their climbing wall and annual rebates on your purchases.  Their on-line shopping experience includes free shipping if you have it develered to your local store.  They regularly offer free in-store clinics and workshops.</description>

Not only do they usually have better prices for their books, CDâ€™s and DVDâ€™s, they also make it very easy for me to find what Iâ€™m looking for. They are one of the most customer-centric companies I know and my loyalty to their airline had me flying them even when another airline may have been more convenient or direct. I have never had a bad or negative experience with them. I always felt like I was being treated as a friend.</description>
