Most people think of Carbonite as a backup company, but we&#039;re really a &quot;restore&quot; company, because restoring your data is when you realize value.   If your data doesn&#039;t get backed up in the first place, you won&#039;t be able to restore it.  That&#039;s why we get very worried when we see that a user&#039;s backup has stopped for any reason.
